The body will scavenge potassium from your muscles and neurology to maintain blood levels. You MUST examine your diet by figuring how much potassium is actually in your diet. For males you need about 3.2 grams of potassium per day, women are less. Then you must have your doctors get a B12 lab. That value will be accurate. I bet this woman doesn’t even have a practice. Doctor’s lab coats will have this name on their lab code. This woman has just dressed for the set. You should not see any neurologist that doesnt examine your B12 and help you determine how much potassium you have. IF you also have high blood pressure you must definitely check your potassium and magnesium.

I also learned that statins interfere with the thyroid hormone.. I am hypothyroid and have taken the useless med, Levothyroxine for 50+ years. I am 76. Next I'll work on the Sertraline. I've recently noticed tingling and numbness in my left hand and arm. This is new. It's been confined to my right foot and leg until now. I take Benfotiamine and Alpa-Lipoic Acid. Please be careful with Alpha-lipoic acid and L-carnitine. That combo made me very angry and depressed. I'd not been told those should not be taken by people who are hypothyroid. It turns out mine was a common reaction.

My edema is caused by Verapamil and my peripheral neuropathy is caused by vitamin B6 overdoses that were prescribed as treatment for Lyme disease.

I used an Excel spreadsheet and a small microbalance to gradually wean myself off a medication I was taking. Weigh the pill or capsule and progressively reduce the weight each week. Electronic scales are very inexpensive on Amazon. By the yard it's hard, but by the inch, it's a cinch.
